Job Description

To supply and install bespoke handrailings for a new architect’s office fit-out in Battersea.

Scope of Works:

Working within a 2-week time frame, we supplied and installed Grade 304 Stainless Steel handrailing’s to the ramps and walls of the office. Each of these railings were finished with a Satin Brushed Polish.

On this project, our client requested a slick continuous feel to the handrail with all joints welded, cleaned flush and polished smooth to create a flowing one-piece rail. This required a full survey of all of the walls and sloping ramp levels before starting the project.

All materials were ordered and fabricated at Natta Steel and were then transported to the site in sections for installation. We then worked with the Foster & Partners on site team to ensure the handrailing bracketry was fixed to the walls as required and met all building regulations.

We then carried out final TIG welding on site to join the sections in situ and hand polish all joints.
